Master Bill Chun, Jr. Returns to Omaha

On Saturday, March 19, 2005, Master Bill Chun, Jr. made a surprise appearance to Omaha.  The occasion was marked by a seminar given by Master Chun, Jr. covering a broad spectrum of material for the Goshin Jitsu Kai system.  Master Chun, Jr. covered kata, tension/power development, and defense techniques against a wide variety of attacks, including that against a knife.  Just when the participants thought they had seen eveything, Master Chun, Jr. brought out techniques from Professor Chow's Kara-Ho and Chinese Kempo systems which had to be felt to be believed.  It is always a pleasure to be in the same dojo as Master Chun, Jr., for his expertise in Professor Chow's and his father's systems are unequaled.  Nick Cerio's Kenpo wishes to thank Master Chun, Jr. and his lovely wife Kathy for making the trip from California as we know how much they sacrifice to do so.  We also wish to thank NCK's host, Sensei Tom Scott and his lovely wife Melody, for their thoughtful and strict attention to detail and the unmatched hospitality which they show each and every time Master Chun, Jr. is in town.  We look forward to many more insightful seminars in the future and hope that Master Chun, Jr. and Kathy had a safe and pleasant journey home.
