Nick Cerio's Kenpo of Omaha
2005 Cornhusker State Games Results

On July 16, 2005 the Nebraska Cornhusker State Games were held in Lincoln, Nebraska.  The Games are one of the premier Amateur Athletic events in the state.  This year Nick Cerio's Kenpo of Omaha brought a team of 25 members to compete in the Martial Arts - Karate division of the Games.  When all was said and done, Nick Cerio's Kenpo of Omaha earned a total of 44 medals.  These were broken down into 15 Gold, 16 Silver, and 13 Bronze.  Nick Cerio's Kenpo's own Richard Nedich earned the "Spirit of the Games" award for the Martial Arts - Karate division of the games for outstanding Sportsmanship that reflected the true meaning of what the Games are all about.  Below is a breakdown of the medal winners:
